Agreement Overview
By accepting gutter installation services from AF Aluminum, the Customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms define the scope of work, pricing assumptions, responsibilities, warranties, and limitations applicable to the project.
1. Scope of Work
AF Aluminum agrees to install gutters at the Customer’s property in accordance with the specifications outlined in the approved quote or contract. Installation includes labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the agreed scope of work, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Any changes, additions, or modifications requested by the Customer after acceptance of the quote may result in additional charges.
Instant Quote & Field Verification
Any instant quote, online estimate, or preliminary pricing is based on information provided by the Customer and assumed or visible conditions. Final pricing is subject to on-site inspection and field verification. Differences in measurements, access, site conditions, materials, structural components, fascia condition, roof height, or scope of work may require a price adjustment prior to installation.
2. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to provide safe and clear access to the property during installation and to remove any obstructions from the work area, including vehicles, furniture, or personal items.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits, approvals, or authorizations necessary for the work.
3. Warranties
AF Aluminum provides a workmanship warranty for the duration specified in the quote details, beginning on the date of completion. This warranty covers defects resulting from improper installation.
Manufacturer warranties for materials apply according to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. This warranty does not cover damage caused by severe weather, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, misuse, or alterations performed by third parties.
4. Limitations of Liability
AF Aluminum is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or structural issues at the property, including but not limited to rotting wood, mold, hidden water damage, or deteriorated fascia, unless such conditions are documented prior to the start of work.
AF Aluminum shall not be liable for damages caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, vandalism, or acts of third parties. The company is not responsible for pricing discrepancies resulting from concealed or inaccessible conditions discovered during on-site evaluation or installation.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations made within three (3) days of signing the proposal may result in forfeiture of the deposit and/or additional charges to cover materials, scheduling, or administrative costs.
If AF Aluminum must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather or material availability, the Customer will be notified as soon as possible to arrange a new installation date.
6. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be addressed through good-faith communication between both parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to mediation or arbitration prior to initiating legal action.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting this proposal, submitting payment, or authorizing work to proceed, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above.
