Agreement Overview
By agreeing to the gutter installation service provided by AF Aluminum, you, the Customer, are accepting the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are intended to clarify the scope of work, payment terms, warranties, and responsibilities of both parties.
1. Scope of Work
AF Aluminum agrees to install gutters on the Customer's property as per the agreed specifications, which will be outlined in the job quote or contract. Installation includes labor, materials, equipment necessary to complete the work, except as otherwise stated in the job contract. Any changes or additional work requested by the Customer after the contract is signed may result in extra charges.
2. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to provide access to the property during the installation and to ensure that all obstructions (such as vehicles, furniture, etc.) are removed from the work area. The Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Warranties
AF Aluminum provides a warranty on the installation for (Stated on Quote Details) from the completion date, covering defects in workmanship. Manufacturer warranties for materials will apply as per their specific terms. The warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors such as severe weather, improper maintenance, or alterations made by third parties.
4. Limitations of Liability
AF Aluminum is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or structural issues on the property (e.g., rotting wood, mold, etc.) unless otherwise noted before the commencement of work. The company shall not be liable for any damage caused by events outside its control, such as natural disasters or vandalism.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations made within 3 Days after signing proposal may result in forfeiture of the deposit or incur additional charges. If AF Aluminum must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather), they will notify the Customer as soon as possible to arrange a new date.
6. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the gutter installation shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably between both parties. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute will be referred to mediation or arbitration before proceeding to legal action.
7. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging AF Aluminum for gutter installation services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
